New Teacher Reception

Description

Chamber Members, as responsible businesspeople we believe in a strong educational system. Every summer the Windsor Chamber of Commerce and the Windsor Historical Society host a New Teacher Reception (or Ice Cream Social) for all teachers new to Windsor Public Schools. The reception/ice cream social is held at the Windsor Historical Society, located at 96 Palisado Ave, on Thursday, August 15 from 1:00-3:00pm.

This is a chance for Chamber members to introduce their businesses to our new teachers who will be working locally. Please join us to socialize, meet, and chat with our teachers. We encourage businesses to provide promotional items, coupons, brochures, etc., for our teacher welcome packets.

Take advantage of the opportunity to introduce yourself and your business. You may Donate 50 pcs of any one giveaway or promotional item for the welcome packets. You may also Sponsor one or more teachers at the Social for $10 each, or become an Event Sponsor for $125. Event Sponsors will receive signage at the event, and on our social media channels, and will receive recognition in our newsletter.

Join us in welcoming Windsor's new and energetic teachers while enjoying some ice cream!
