The Rotary Club is pleased to sponsor with the Shad Fest Bureau the 2025 Shad Derby Kick-off event at Back East Brewery. This event starts the 2025 Shad Derby festivities and programs that involve and support many local civic groups. Back East has a Kitchen now so food is available.
Proceeds from the Kick-off will benefit the Shad Fest Bureau Queen contestant scholarships and the Windsor Rotary Charitable Fund scholarships.
The Shad Fest Bureau is supported by Windsor Rod & Gun Club (an original founder), Windsor Jaycees, Windsor Junior Woman's Club, Windsor Kiwanis Club, Windsor Lion's Club, Washington Lodge #70 A.F. & A.M., Windsor Historical Society, Town of Windsor Recreation Department, Win-TV, Windsor Chamber of Commerce, Windsor Art Center and the Windsor Rotary Club.
The Windsor Rotary Club is part of the Rotary International. In Windsor we support local projects like our September food packaging project, scholarships, Student of the Month program and other local endeavors.
Come out and celebrate the Kick-off on Friday the 14th.
The Ticket price is $35 and includes two(2) beverage vouchers and $5 worth of Raffle Tickets (for those purchasing in advance). Tickets will also be available at the door.
