Longest Table, a Community Meal

Windsor Hunger Action Team is pleased to announce we are planning an exciting & meaningful event THE LONGEST TABLE, A COMMUNITY MEAL Friday evening, Sept. 19, 2025. It is our plan to host this event at Windsor’s Town Green with a rain location of L.P Wilson . 

September is Hunger Action Month! Each year we take on a project in our local community to bring awareness to food insecurity and our ongoing commitment to resolving them. Our goal for this this event is to bring our community together for conversation, connection, and a shared meal to raise awareness of food insecurity and to combat social isolation in Windsor. 

In September of 2023, we were able to foster an incredible sense of togetherness at the 1st Longest Table event held outside at the L.P Wilson Community Center – hosting over 150 residents and volunteers. We are looking forward to expanding on that success with a larger gathering scheduled for Friday, September 19th, 2025 at the Windsor Town Green.
