Leonard Hellerman, is an award winning photographer who's work has appeared in The Hartford Courant 

newspaper, The Sun Sentinel newspaper, and Connecticut Magazine. 

He was a principle contributor to three editions of the book, "Hartford, New England's Rising

Star."  Sixty-four of his photographs, including the front cover photograph, appear in the current

book, entitled, "Hartford: Photographic Moments of the People, Places, and Lives in Our Region." 

A book by Joseph Meehan about capturing motion and time in photography includes three of his

photographs. 

Leonard has his work on permanent display at the Medical School of the University of Connecticut, in

Farmington, Connecticut,  the William Benton Museum

of Art of the University of Connecticut, at Storrs, Connecticut and the New Britain Museum of American Art in

 New Britain, Connecticut. Also locally at several banks, hotels, apartment complex and businesses, in Windsor,

 Windsor Locks and Bloomfield, Connecticut

Honored by The town of Windsor for his contributions to  "There's a Lot to do in Windsor" publication and the

 Environmental Protection Agency of the state of Connecticut has also made extensive use of his imagery.
